Publication Fee
jbarbiomed's standard Article Processing Charge (APC) is USD $100 per accepted manuscript.
This fee is 100% waived for all manuscripts accepted through 31 December 2026. No author submitting or publishing during this period will be charged, and no waiver request is necessary — it is applied automatically.
From 1 January 2027 onward, the standard APC of USD $100 will apply. Authors from low- and middle-income countries, or facing genuine financial hardship, may request a full or partial waiver at the time of submission; such requests have no bearing on the editorial or peer-review decision.
The APC covers peer review coordination, copyediting and proofreading, digital formatting, long-term archiving, hosting, and indexing/promotional outreach. There are no submission fees, and no charges apply to rejected manuscripts.
